CONSCIOUS LIVING RETREATS
Coming Home
A 7-day retreat in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains
An invitation to slow down, reconnect and return to yourself
June 12 - 18, 2027, Bragg Creek, Alberta, Canada
Coming Home To Yourself
Coming Home was inspired by what our participants valued most from our first retreat: the conversations that lingered over coffee, quiet walks through the forest, laughter around the fire, and the rare opportunity to simply be.
Built on those moments, this retreat creates even more space for meaningful connection and quiet reflection. It's an invitation to slow down and make room for the conversations and insights that unfold naturally when there's nowhere else you need to be.
Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning to Folk Tree Lodge, we look forward to welcoming you.
This retreat isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about creating the space to reconnect with who you’ve always been.
Through guided conversations, mindfulness practices, journaling, and quiet reflection, you'll be invited to slow down, notice your patterns, and explore what it means to live with greater intention and awareness.
There is no expectation to have the answers.
Only an invitation to become curious.
What Stuck With Our Guests The Most
-
It doesn’t take more than a minute to fall in love with Kristine. She has the sweetest and safest demeanour and I am so grateful for the time I have spent in her presence. She has given me the perfect example of conscious living and the inspiration to strive for that. I love you and thank you.

Artemis embodies an impressive blend of knowledge, resourcefulness, insight, intuition, passion, and presence. Her expertise and ability to inspire growth are outstanding. Engaging in her workshops has been a transformative experience, where her guidance expands skills and broadens perspectives. I am deeply appreciative of the wisdom and inspiration she brings to each session, creating a journey of profound learning and empowerment.
— Diana K.

Gabby is a bright soul that holds space for everyone in grace. She combines movement, breathwork, sound and consciousness in such a splendid way and her sessions are what true yoga is all about.
— Stella I.
Many of you found something real at our first gathering: a thread of connection to yourselves and to each other that has stayed with you.
This retreat honours that.
You are not starting over; you are going deeper. The women you will sit with have walked their own paths since we last gathered, and there is something quietly powerful about coming back together, changed and still recognisably yourselves.
You will leave with more than memories. You will leave having practiced the art of living consciously, of making choices from your values rather than your fears, of caring for yourself without guilt, of being present in your own life.
Folk Tree Lodge will hold the space. The work and the wonder is yours.

Gabby embarked on her yoga journey over 12 years ago, instantly developing a love and curiosity for the practice. Through her time on the mat, she’s uncovered the quiet steadiness beneath the rocky waters of the thinking mind and began deepening her relationship with Self in ways she never anticipated. Over the years her path has unfolded further into conscious connected breathwork, reiki/energy healing, embodied dance, somatics, ceremonial work and plant medicine. Her mission is to create spaces for women to gather that honours the full spectrum of the human experience and gives us permission to feel it all as we come home to ourselves. Her intention is to bring you practices and rituals that nourish all layers of your being, support and inspire you, wherever you are on your own journey.

Thoughtfully Cared For
One of the things our participants spoke about most after our first retreat wasn't something we taught. It was how deeply they felt cared for.
From the warmth of the cabins at Folk Tree Lodge to the peaceful surroundings and welcoming gathering spaces, every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to help you settle in, slow down, and feel at home.
We're also delighted to welcome back our chefs, Janice and Marcy, whose extraordinary meals became a memorable part of last year's retreat. Every meal and snack is thoughtfully prepared with locally sourced ingredients, exceptional care, creativity and love. More than nourishment, these shared meals become moments to gather, connect, and savour the experience together.
From the moment you arrive until it's time to leave, our hope is that you'll feel cared for in every sense of the word.

This retreat is intentionally designed to create space for what often gets lost in the pace of everyday life. Through guided conversations, mindfulness practices, sharing circles, journaling, time in nature, and moments of quiet reflection, you'll have the opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore what conscious living looks like in your own life.
This is not a conference or a workshop. It is a thoughtfully held space where you can step away from the demands of daily life and simply be. A place to pause, reflect, connect, and return to what matters most, while allowing room for the conversations and insights that can't be scheduled.
Together, we'll explore:
What keeps us operating on autopilot, and how we can live with greater awareness and intention.
How to create space amid constant demands, digital distraction, and competing priorities.
Practices that quiet the mind and help us reconnect with what matters most.
Guided reflection and journaling that uncover patterns, create clarity, and support meaningful change.
The restorative power of slowing down, connecting with nature, and simply being present.
-
Whether you are new to meditating or an experienced meditator, our guided meditations, silent nature walks and mindfulness activities will provide you with the chance to integrate the work being done during our workshops.
The mind needs to quieten before the soul can speak and a combination of meditative and mindfulness practices will be used to enable you to experience moments of respite from thinking.
All meditations are optional - you can choose to opt in or out as you see fit. Let your intuition guide you.
The practices you learn will be immediately transferable outside of our retreat environment and will equip you with the tools you need to navigate the challenges of your daily life.
-
Daily yoga classes led by our expert yoga teacher.
Relax into the flow of pranic energy through ancient rituals designed to open your heart and speak to your soul.
Yoga practices are optional opt in or opt out as you see fit.
They are designed to complement the work done during the workshops to enable the energy to move through you and open your chakras to the growth taking place during the retreat.
They also provide you with the chance to integrate practices that will allow you to manage your every day beyond the retreat environment.

What Awaits You
Empowerment through Connection
Connect with like-minded individuals.
Share experiences, engage in meaningful conversations and be surrounded by people who ‘get it’.
Expand your network and leave with a new tribe vibrating on the same frequency.
The Conversations That Matter
Some of the most meaningful moments of a retreat can't be scheduled.
They happen over breakfast, during a walk through the forest, beside the evening fire, or in the quiet that follows a thoughtful question.
Throughout Coming Home, we'll create space for those conversations, knowing that some of our greatest insights come not from being taught, but from being truly present with ourselves and one another.
Unleash Your Authentic Self
In the sanctuary of the retreat, the focus is on you; the real you.
By reflecting and reconnecting with your inner wisdom you will develop an even deeper state of self-awareness.
You will be empowered and inspired to speak and live your truth.
Perspective
Stepping away from the pace of everyday life allows us to see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us with fresh eyes.
Through time for reflection, meaningful conversation, and moments of quiet in nature, you'll create the space to notice what has been asking for your attention, reconnect with what matters most, and gain a renewed sense of clarity.
Sometimes nothing around us needs to change. We simply need enough space to see it differently.
Practice Real Self-Care
Pause, Reflect, Recharge.
Take long walks, breath in the crisp mountain air, and feel the earth beneath your feet as you ground and reconnect with your soul.
Self-care happens when we unplug and have the time and the space to reflect and gain clarity and perspective.
Heal In Nature
Nestled amidst the majestic evergreens and spread out over 30 acres, our retreat space is immersed in a natural habitat that is designed to bring you back to the healing power of nature.
Allow the crisp mountain air to invigorate your senses; listen, smell, feel and see yourself as part of the greater whole.
Become one with the land and open yourself to allow Gaia’s love to flow through you.
