CONSCIOUS LIVING RETREATS
Arriving Home
June 12 - 18 2027, Bragg Creek, Alberta, Canada
What Happens When You Are Ready To Come Home To Yourself?
There is a place inside you that has always known the way home. Next June, we return to the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, to Folk Tree Lodge, to the forest, to the quiet and to ourselves. Arriving Home is an invitation to stop performing, stop striving, and simply arrive. To remember who you are when no one is watching, and to love you unconditionally.
Through guided mindfulness practices, honest conversation, and intentional stillness, we create the conditions for something rare: genuine self-awareness. Each day is crafted to support you in dropping the weight of who you've been told to be and rediscovering the clarity of who you actually are.
This is not self-improvement. This is self-recognition.
Have you often found yourself:
feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from your authentic self?
longing for a break from it all, in a space where you can recharge your soul and reconnect with your inner power?
wondering how to stay mindful in the present moment when everything and everyone is demanding of your time and attention?
juggling responsibilities at work and home while constantly striving for excellence?
feeling exhausted from the constant digital distractions?
yearning to connect with like-minded women?
You are not alone.
We are right here with you.

Many of you found something real at our first gathering: a thread of connection to yourselves and to each other that has stayed with you.
This retreat honours that.
You are not starting over; you are going deeper. The women you will sit with have walked their own paths since we last gathered, and there is something quietly powerful about coming back together, changed and still recognisably yourselves.
You will leave with more than memories. You will leave having practiced the art of living consciously, of making choices from your values rather than your fears, of caring for yourself without guilt, of being present in your own life.
Folk Tree Lodge will hold the space. The work and the wonder is yours.

Gabby embarked on her yoga journey over 10 years ago, instantly developing a love and curiosity for the practice. She discovered a quiet peace within that only came from her time on the mat. The curiosity only deepened as the magic rippled into other areas of her life and an inner knowing grew, that this was the path she needed to follow.
Taking her first 200 hr YTT in 2020 online over the lockdown, the knowledge she gained fed the hunger but the transition to teaching in person was a big leap from the online world! So she dove into another training, in person this time, taking the 300 hr YTT at Prana Yoga. During that time she also completed 50 hrs of Yin training with Amanda Whiting and 50 hrs kids YTT with Sarah Morris. More recently Gabby traveled to India, where she completed a 100 hr Kundalini YTT at the Anand Prakash Ashram with Yogrishi Vishvaketu.
Through each training and the consistency of personal practice, the love for yoga has grown to something deeper than could have been originally predicted. It has blossomed into an offering of her devotion, a reconnection to her wholeness and a remembering of the sacred gift this body and life truly is. All of which overflow into her offerings and classes. Gabby has a passion for traditional aspects of yoga, weaving them into her teachings. She values being a student first as well as a teacher and invites intuitive movement and variations into her classes, encouraging students to feel into their own body and move with curiosity.
"We are yogi scientists." - Yogrishi Vishvaketu
Balancing Success and Mindfulness:
The Price of Connectivity for Successful Women
For successful women, the virtual world and its benefits come with a cost—the ability to live consciously. However, by acknowledging the challenges posed by constant connectivity and embracing mindful practices, women can strike a balance between success and conscious living. Ultimately, fostering an environment that supports mindfulness in the workplace and personal life can lead to greater well-being and fulfillment for all.
-
While technological advancements offer unparalleled convenience and efficiency, they also create a double-edged sword for successful women.
The ability to work remotely and collaborate globally may lead to blurred boundaries between personal and professional life, making it challenging to stay mindful and present in the moment.
-
As successful women climb the ladder of success, they often face increased pressure to excel in their respective fields.
Juggling responsibilities at work and home while constantly striving for excellence can take a toll on mental well-being and reduce the capacity for conscious living.
-
With virtual work becoming the new norm, women are frequently exposed to digital distractions that hinder mindfulness.
Constant notifications, emails, and the allure of social media can make it difficult to focus on the present and engage in mindful practices.
-
The concept of self-care often takes a backseat amid the demanding professional and personal lives of successful women.
Finding ways to prioritize self-care and integrating mindfulness practices into daily routines becomes crucial for maintaining a sense of balance and well-being.
-
As women immerse themselves in the fast-paced digital world, the connection with nature can diminish. Reconnecting with nature and engaging in outdoor activities can be an effective way to rejuvenate and foster a conscious lifestyle.
-
Organizations can play a pivotal role in supporting their female employees' well-being. Implementing mindfulness programs, encouraging breaks, and fostering a healthy work environment can contribute to a more mindful and balanced workforce.
-
Despite the paradoxical nature of digital connections, it is essential to nurture meaningful relationships with colleagues, friends, and family. Emphasizing quality over quantity in relationships can help counterbalance the negative effects of constant virtual connectivity.
-
Learning to unplug from devices and set boundaries between work and personal life is a crucial step toward conscious living. Setting aside designated times for technology-free activities can help rejuvenate the mind and promote presence.
