Professional Background: Having commenced her career in private practice in Melbourne, Artemis took the leap and moved to Athens Greece to take up a role as assistant legal advisor with The Olayan Group – one of the world’s largest privately owned investment groups. She was rapidly trained in the world of private equity, corporate structuring, distribution and franchise deals, cross border mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, ultimately handling the Saudi Arabian and Middle Eastern legal operations of the group.

Her hands on services and commitment to her clients resulted in an in house move to one of her clients in Doha Qatar where she was tasked with the establishment and management of the legal department of Qatar Mining, an investment arm of the State of Qatar. Learning about the mining industry from a commercial perspective resulted in a truly international role, advising the CEO and Board Members, preparing commercial and legal due diligence and overseeing investments in both publicly listed and privately held companies through the mining hubs of Canada and the UK, with work on the ground in parts of Africa and Indonesia.
Returning to Cyprus, Artemis joined IKOS, the investment manager to one of Europe’s largest hedge funds providing legal support to, the hedge fund business and heading up the legal department of the family office, managing investments in fixed and tangible assets, before leaving to establish Aipeia Consulting in 2013.
